The moment the world has been waiting for is finally here. Brazil and Croatia kick off the 1st game of the world cup. Obviously Brazil is a heavy favorite playing in front of their home crowd and despite the overwhelming pressure they face to win the whole tournament, the team seems confident and ready to take on any team in their path.
This got me to wondering.....has a host team ever lost the opening game?
The answer is no.
Expect a big win from Brazil today and if your in Vegas make a bet and take some free money. The only thing that can stop Brazil today is more strikes and rioting. Happy World Cup EVERYONE!
